Mill Corner Holiday Cottages

Terms & Conditions

  1. Your cottage will be available to you from 3.00pm on your arrival date.
     

  2. Your cottage must be vacated by 10.00am on your departure date.
     

  3. A non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking of 10% of your holiday cottage cost.
     

  4. The balance of the monies must be received at least one calendar month before the date on which the holiday is due to start. Failure to comply with this condition may result in the loss of your holiday.
     

  5. Following the receipt of your deposit, you have a cooling off period of seven working days during which your deposit will be fully refunded should you decide to cancel your booking.  After this period the deposit it non-refundable.  If you decide to cancel your holiday after the balance has been paid, we will only be able to refund the balance payment to you if we have been able to re-let your holiday cottage. If we cannot re-let your cottage, you will be liable for the final balance in full.
     

  6. Mill Corner Holiday Cottages reserves the right to refuse any booking application, or to refuse or terminate accommodation at their absolute discretion.
     

  7. Both The Bake House and the Cart House are strictly no smoking properties.
     

  8. Pets are not permitted at either cottage.
     

  9. Naked flames (not including the bake house gas cooker) are not permitted inside the cottages, nor are barbecues allowed anywhere in the cottage grounds.
     

  10. Your cottage may be occupied only by the person(s) specified on the booking form and no other persons whatsoever.
     

  11. Under no circumstances should your cottage be occupied by more than the number for which the accommodation is intended and advertised.
     

  12. You may invite day visitors to your cottage with the prior agreement of the owners.  Extra garden furniture can be made available.
     

  13. You agree not to use the property for any illegal or commercial purpose.
     

  14. You must allow the owners or their tradespeople access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay.  In an emergency, the owners or their tradespeople can enter the property without your notice, if you cannot be contacted.
     

  15. Guests are asked to respect the fabric of their cottage throughout their holiday and to behave in a way that shows consideration for other guests and neighbours.
       

  16. Mill Corner Holiday Cottages is in no way responsible for loss or damage to your property however caused whilst you are here. We recommend that you insure your personal effects, clothing and cash in the normal way before coming on your holiday.
     

  17. You are required to leave your cottage in the same clean and tidy state it was in on your arrival. Additional cleaning charges may be made where a cottage is left in an unacceptable state.
     

  18. Guests are responsible for the full replacement cost of any items that have been broken by accident and the owners should be informed of any such damages prior to departure.
